was at the Pasir ris mega courts the other day, first thing i saw was a huge sign that announced that courts is the official furniture brand of liverpool.. or something to that effect.

first thing i thought: isn't this driving away non-liverpool fans? and besides, which liverpool player would have any furniture at home from Courts...

they must have paid a fortune to get the exclusive rights, i wonder how much can they make back from these ridiculous items,


seriously, i dont see any difference from just pasting liverpool stickers all over the kids room, cheaper sommore.







my kid would never have stuff like that. totally throws off the asthetics of my home decor. Seth's room would have to be sleek and minimalistic.

tampines one

i remember an article in the news paper a few years ago that said that the human traffic at Tampines mall area is like in the 1 million, waay more than even orchard road.

with the opening of tampines one, jia lat lar.... MM Lee wants to aim for what, 6 million population from our now 4 plus million, i seriously dred that.

i mean, look at the number of ppl in tampines one! its like china town during the CNY season!

shopping is really no fun when you have to squeeze your way everywhere. but since i was with the family, we just checked out some shops, after all, family outings are like once in a blue moon.

before even entering, the first shop you'd see is yamakawa super.
in japan, 7-11 ish shops are called supers... short for super mart i guess although they are small.

its like stepping into a shop in Japan. you'd find stuff you cant find elsewhere, at prices you wont find elsewhere. *i'm being sacarstic*

girls are like strawberries

got back to an sms by mom saying that dad was feeling dejected so went to have a chat with him. i dont really chat with him these days... prob cos i find my parents room too hot for comfort. bad reason.

well, the conversation turned to my old classmates who were getting married. at 24! i dont know, just feel thats kinda young... i mean even otosan was only married at 28, and that was like a generation ago.

apparently, in japan, some say girls are like strawberries, or actually more like christmas cakes.. the strawberries on christmas cakes. * in Japan, christmas cakes almost ALWAYS have strawberries on them. and the strawberries have to be perfect. so leading up to the 25th, the price of strawberries sky rocket. then after christmas they plunge.... no need liao.

26th onwards can buy them cheep cheep~
