yesterday while at TM with mom, we saw breadtalk selling garlic bread, except that it was a normal square toast. so, in the usual queen of practicality way, she said 'you can do that.' .

note... queen of kitchen would say ' i can do that.' but noooo...

so.... do then do lor.

i only choose healthy stuff, extra virgin. use the margarine as base if you like a full flavor. i personally like it as plain as possible.

baking is all fine but grilling really gives it the over-a-fire taste

all together there are 7 dishes, all together weighing 7kg:

1) Assorted sushi (35 pieces)
2) Yakisoba (serves 4 ppl)
3) Hamburger steak/Salisbury Steak (serves 5 ppl)
4) Curry and rice (serves 3 ppl)
5) Cake (serves 10 ppl)
6) Okonomiyaki (serves 5 ppl)
7) Gyoza (friggin big)

in part 1 we end off with sone chan finishing the steak while the gaki team just started on the yakisoba...

Part 2, the guys change the rules and all eat at the same time!

i recon i could last the 35 pieces of sushi and the 4 serving of yakisoba, but not with such a happy smile.

woke up to find smses from all e ppl i've hoped to hear from... FW, DM and Cheryl!
it took me 15 mins go get out of bed cos my left knee and ankles are so frigggggggin p.a.i.n!!!!
still remember those ppl at the road side kept screaming "加油!" "加油!"... halama... its not the 油 la... i got the gas but the machinery has already broken down lor...

but its hari raya sia... stay at home like wasted, k la, go out with Cheryl! mac cafe at the shaw is becoming our hang out place sia... you put 2 ppl who can really talk alot together, we could have spent the whole day there. seriously, never a moment of silence, i dont know how we do it! hee.......

i felt like an ah mah... cheryl kept insisting on supporting my arm as i hobbled. i not ah mah!

then there was the dick in a jar thing. yeah you heard it right, DICK IN A JAR. she told me about it and i was like "no way you're going to point it out, i dont want to see it man!" but i din really know where it was so.... i turned around and saw a huge jar with some beige thing inside.... yaaaaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!!!!!!

stand chart '08 is cheepo

hmm.. where shall i start...

i was tagless, chipless, friendless, trainingless, sleepless, running 20 miles!

since i din anticipate to run, e most i trained was 1 s.l.o.w. 8km run + a few 4km s. was taking over someone else and had to get the tag and chip from shi yun, but she woke up late so we arranged to meet somewhere right at the back of the start line. but without hp, i couldn't find her!!! and i couldn't find evan and joanne either! finally when the announcer threatened to close the start point in prep for the half marathon, i was practically shoved past the start point.

had no sleep for 2 nights already, and here i was running a race that killed my knee last year... thought of just going home but my stuff was in yuki's bag and so i would have to wait for him to finish :(

looking at all the atheletes around me aroused the die-die-also-do spirit within me. never NEVER start a race without finishing it. not even if you are running a broardy 42.195km that you are not registered for anyway.

so run lor...

but more sensible this year. no jumping, whoooping, dancing along the way :P

still leg pachar by 20km. damage control mode, no matter how ego crashing also just walk. thank God shu yun ran past me so i got my tag and chip at least.

15km left den i noticed that the guy beside me had been walking at the same pace as me for quite some time already. din really know if coincidence so neh mind. they gave out bottles of water and he took one to offer me, when i declined, he threw it away! i din realize that he was looking out for me, sooo sweet!!! he could have run all the way lar, his knee din look pachar lo!

mom's 61 years young!

woke up and realized that i din know whether i needed to be in school or not. but to be on the safe side, i decided to go anyway. @!%#!$%!, i din have to show up since i had afternoon invigilation! waste my time travelling to braddell and back... i could be sleeping sia..er, no lar, who am i kidding, i'm an early bird... i cant sleep past 8am even if i wanted to!

hoo haaa to the pre holidays!!! i have more time to spend with my family :)

was so hard to get every one home at the same time to celebrate mom's birthday...(actually its tomorrow)

mom does not look 61 at all! she hardly looks 51....

we only eat together 5 times a year. 4 birthdays + new year. and almost always, its pizza and pasta and fastfood! dad loves it and its like the most convenient delivery number so yeah...

freaked! ....the staff seminar was like so out of my league that i started doing my matthew 28 homiletics... was at the part where the angel moved away the huge stone infront of the tomb and sat on it, hmm verse 2?... e P was giving his opening address at that point and so i turned around to check out what was his topic, and guess what... on the powerpoint , flashed big and bold: rolling away the huge stone.....!!! i was like "what the crap??????" well, it turned out that he was talking about overcoming big obstacles but hey, it was God loud and clear to me saying "stop doing your BSF homework and listen to your P!"... alamak... early morning kena scolding liao...

its kinda useless having me in any discussion group in the seminar cos i'm like how new.... i hardly know how the school system works let alone contribute any useful ideas for adjustments....
so i sit there eat curry puffs and chocolate. they really feed teachers well...
